History
Performance Carpet Care was founded in January 1977 by my mother; Barbara and my step father; Jeffrey, and was originally named B & J Carpet Cleaning.
I began working for them when I was 12 yrs old in 1981. I grew up learning all the different methods and techniques. I briefly left from 1987 through 1991 when I enlisted into the U.S. Marine Corps as Military Police. Upon completion of my tour in the Marines, I worked for several different local reputable carpet cleaning companies, learning all manners, methods and techniques as well as scores of various types of cleaning equipment.
This was ultimately so I could gather the bits and pieces of what I felt was the best from the best, and thus returned working for B&J in 1993 with this new broad range of knowledge– incorporating everything I had learned. I brought back what I found to be the best cleaning products and equipment, as well as the best techniques for ensuring the perfect results. Whilst with B&J, I continued to grow, mature, and learn this business inside and out. I took over sole ownership in July of 2003.
As I desired B&J to have a fresh look, I decided to change the name to Performance Carpet Care.
